Juliana, a French tourist, was taking pictures with her phone while following the parade. This was her first time in Vietnam, and this interesting event helped her understand more about traditional Vietnamese costumes, especially the ao dai.
"I learned about Vietnamese ao dai through movies, my impression was the graceful, gentle look of the dress. But today I was really surprised, your traditional costumes are very diverse and colorful," Juliana excitedly said.
Like Juliana, many foreign tourists present at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street this afternoon were surprised by the bustling festival atmosphere.
