Comrade Ho Trung Viet (right cover) requested that the performances must highlight the specialty of Ca Mau crab and express the aspiration of Ca Mau land to develop comprehensively.

The opening art program of this year's Ca Mau Crab Festival has the theme "Ca Mau Crab: Forest Scent - Sea Flavor", elaborately staged with 2 chapters: "Ca Mau - Convergence of Cultural and Natural Identity" and "Ca Mau Crab - Quintessence of the Cape". The performances recreate the cultural beauty and rich spiritual life of the people of Ca Mau; at the same time, express the joy and pride of the ethnic people in front of the new appearance of the province, civilized, modern, friendly and constantly striving for comprehensive development, confidently entering a new era with the whole country.

The art program is a picture recreating the cultural beauty and rich spiritual life of the people of Ca Mau.

Speaking at the rehearsal, comrade Ho Trung Viet highly appreciated the overall art program. The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requested relevant units, directors and artists to continue adjusting some stage scenes to ensure the performances are in harmony with the content, highlighting the specialty of Ca Mau crab and clearly demonstrating the strong development aspirations of the land at the southernmost tip of the Fatherland.

The opening ceremony of the Festival will take place at 8:00 p.m. on November 16 at Phan Ngoc Hien Square (Le Duan Street, An Xuyen Ward). The program will be broadcast live on Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio and Television and rebroadcast by Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television and several other provinces and cities.
