Ready for the opening ceremony of the Ca Mau Crab Festival 2025

On the evening of November 15th, the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival 2022 held a dress rehearsal for the opening ceremony at Phan Ngoc Hien Square (An Xuyen Ward).

Attending the dress rehearsal were comrades: Ho Trung Viet, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee; and Le Van Su, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

Comrade Ho Trung Viet (far right) requested that the performances highlight the specialty of Ca Mau crab and express the aspirations of the Ca Mau region to develop comprehensively.

The opening art program of this year's Ca Mau Crab Festival , themed "Ca Mau Crab: Forest Fragrance - Sea Taste," was elaborately staged with two parts: "Ca Mau - A Convergence of Cultural Identity and Nature" and "Ca Mau Crab - The Quintessence of the Cape." The performances recreated the beauty of the culture and rich spiritual life of the people of Ca Mau; while also expressing the joy and pride of the ethnic communities in the province's new face – civilized, modern, friendly, and constantly striving for comprehensive development, confidently joining the rest of the country in entering a new era .

The art program is a portrayal of the rich cultural beauty and spiritual life of the people of Ca Mau.

Speaking at the dress rehearsal, Comrade Ho Trung Viet highly appreciated the overall artistic program. The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requested that the relevant units, directors, and artists continue to adjust some stage scenes to ensure that the performances harmonize with the content, highlight the specialty of Ca Mau crab, and clearly express the strong development aspirations of the southernmost region of the Fatherland.

The opening ceremony of the festival will take place at 8 PM on November 16th at Phan Ngoc Hien Square (Le Duan Street, An Xuyen Ward). The program will be broadcast live on Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio & Television and rebroadcast by Ho Chi Minh City Radio & Television and several other provinces and cities.
