Reappointment to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 7

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 2490/QD-TTg dated November 14, 2025, of the Prime Minister reappointing Major General Dang Van Lam as Deputy Commander of Military Region 7.

This decision takes effect from January 23, 2026.

Major General Dang Van Lam was born in 1968; his political theory level is advanced; his professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Military Science degree.

Major General Dang Van Lam was appointed Deputy Commander of Military Region 7 in January 2021. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Commander of Military Region 7, Major General Dang Van Lam held the following positions: Principal of the Military School of Military Region 7; and Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7.

Also on November 14th, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 2489/QD-TTg dated November 14, 2025, of the Prime Minister appointing Colonel Luong Dinh Hung, Director of the Department of Operations and Law of the Vietnam Coast Guard, to the position of Deputy Commander of Law Enforcement of the Vietnam Coast Guard.
