Re-appointment to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 7

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 2490/QD-TTg dated November 14, 2025 of the Prime Minister to reappoint Major General Dang Van Lam to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 7.

This Decision takes effect from January 23, 2026.

Major General Dang Van Lam, born in 1968; political theory: Senior; expertise: Bachelor of Military.

Major General Dang Van Lam was appointed to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 7 from January 2021. Before being appointed to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 7, Major General Dang Van Lam held the following positions: Principal of Military School of Military Region 7; Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7.

Also on November 14, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 2489/QD-TTg dated November 14, 2025 of the Prime Minister appointing Colonel Luong Dinh Hung, Director of the Department of Professional Affairs and Law of the Vietnam Coast Guard, to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Law of the Vietnam Coast Guard.
