Visiting Da Nang during DIFF 2026, tourists can combine watching the fireworks with exploring many of the city's famous destinations.

Following the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, the city's tourism industry recorded many positive signs, with increases in the number of overnight stays, air passengers, and visitors to tourist attractions compared to the same period last year.

According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of visitors served by accommodation establishments on May 30th was estimated at 91,700, an increase of 17.5% compared to the opening night of DIFF 2025. The city-wide room occupancy rate reached approximately 65%, with many beachfront and Han River hotels almost fully booked.

The number of visitors to tourist areas and attractions during the opening of DIFF 2026 also reached over 145,000, a 20% increase compared to the same period last year. Da Nang International Airport recorded 161 arrival flights on the opening day, a 14% increase compared to 2025.

These figures show that the appeal of DIFF lies not only in the fireworks displays but also in driving a range of tourism, leisure, and entertainment activities in the city.

During the upcoming nights of DIFF 2026, visitors to Da Nang can enjoy the fireworks display along the Han River while also exploring many famous destinations.

My Khe Beach and Son Tra Peninsula, with their coastal roads and scenic viewpoints, continue to be popular choices for tourists during the summer.

In the city center, the Dragon Bridge, the Love Bridge, Bach Dang pedestrian street, and the streets along the Han River are bustling spots in the evening. Boat tours on the Han River also attract many tourists, offering a unique perspective to admire the city at night.

For tourists staying for an extended period, destinations like Ba Na Hills and Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park are worthwhile options to consider.

From Da Nang, tourists can also easily connect their itineraries to visit Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary to experience more of the unique cultural and historical values ​​of Central Vietnam.

With a series of competition nights lasting throughout the summer and a diverse tourism ecosystem, Da Nang expects to continue welcoming a large number of domestic and international tourists, contributing to maintaining the growth momentum of the tourism industry in 2026.

Following the opening night between the Da Nang (Vietnam) and China teams, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 will continue to take place every Saturday evening along the Han River.

The second night of the competition on June 6th had the theme "Heritage," featuring a contest between Team Vietnam 2 (Z121 Vina Pyrotech) and France.

Following that, June 13th will be the "Culture" competition between Japan and Italy; June 20th will feature the "Creativity" theme with participation from Germany and Macau (China); and June 27th will be the "Vision" competition between Australia and Portugal.

The final night will take place on July 11th with the theme "Da Nang - Connecting Horizons," bringing together the two best teams to compete for the championship.
