At 7:00 a.m. on November 15, Nha Trang Ward Police were still coordinating with relevant units to block off the scene to examine and investigate the cause of the fire at the motel in the area.
Initial information, at about 4:30 a.m. the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police (PC07) received a report of a fire at a 4-storey motel located at the intersection of Nguyen Thai Hoc - Nguyen Hong Son (Nha Trang ward).
PC07 mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
At about 5:10 a.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control, and the authorities rescued Ms. TTTH (25 years old, residing in Hoa Tri commune, Khanh Hoa province). Ms. H. suffered burns to about 30% of her body.
According to Tuoi Tre Online at the scene, many people living in the boarding house and surrounding areas were still shocked when the fire burned down many belongings and properties.
A woman renting a room at this motel said that at the time of the fire, she was in her room on the second floor when she smelled a burning smell and heard shouts of "fire, fire" from many rooms at the end of the row.
This woman and some others tried to use mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire, but because the fire spread so quickly, they were helpless.
