Nguyen Du High School - formerly Dong Xoai Semi-Public High School, was established on November 13, 1995. When it was first established, the school had only 12 staff, teachers and more than 130 students. In 2008, the school was officially named Nguyen Du High School, marking a turning point in the journey to affirm its position and reputation in the local education system.

Over the past three decades, Nguyen Du High School has grown to become a prestigious educational institution. In 2018, the school was recognized as meeting national standards for the 2018-2023 period. In 2023, the school continued to be recognized as meeting national standards level 1, cycle 2 (2023-2028) and was assessed for educational quality level 2. In the 2024-2025 school year, the graduation rate reached 99.81%; the rate of direct promotion to the next grade was 99.87%, with 55 students winning provincial-level excellent student awards. This school year, the school has 36 classrooms and more than 1,500 students.

30 years is a meaningful journey, marking the journey of formation, construction and development of Nguyen Du High School, with the dedication of many generations of teachers and the desire for knowledge of students. It is even more honorable that on this occasion, Ms. Le Thi Linh Phuong, a teacher of the school, was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the President and 7 teachers received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of Dong Nai province, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Binh Phuoc Ward Giang Thi Phuong Hanh acknowledged and commended the achievements of the school over the past 30 years, and expressed gratitude to generations of teachers on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day November 20. At the same time, she requested the school to promote its tradition, continue to improve the quality of education, pay attention to Party building work in the school, promote the application of information technology, and comprehensive digital transformation in all areas of operation.
