Tran Bien Ward won first prize in the 2025 Young Propaganda Festival

(DN) - On the afternoon of November 16, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Children's Council jointly organized a festival for young propaganda teams on preventing and combating the evils of kidnapping and child abuse in 2025.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha said: The work of protecting, caring for and educating children has always been given attention and implemented in many forms. However, the kidnapping, violence and abuse of children still occurs in many places, causing serious consequences not only for the physical but also for the mental health of the children.

The Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union Council have implemented a plan to organize a Festival for young propaganda teams on preventing and combating kidnapping and child abuse in 2025. The Festival aims to create a playground for children and students to exchange, learn, and share experiences; and replicate good models and creative ways of propagating and combating kidnapping and child abuse in the province.

After a period of implementation, the festival has received strong response from communes and wards in the province. Based on the scoring results from the Jury in the Preliminary Round, the Organizing Committee selected the 10 best young propaganda teams to participate in the final round.

Participating in the final round, the young propaganda teams went through 2 competitions: Wise Young and Propaganda Young. In the Wise Young competition, representatives of the teams answered 10 multiple choice questions on knowledge related to the Law on Children, knowledge on preventing and combating the evils of kidnapping, abuse, violence against children... In the Propaganda Young competition, through presentations and skits, the teams focused on propagating the prevention and combat of the evils of kidnapping, abuse, violence, and child injuries...

As a result, the Tran Bien Ward Young Propaganda Team won first prize. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 4 promising prizes to the remaining teams.

* On this occasion, authorized by the Central Council of Young Pioneers and the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Young Pioneers Council organized the awarding of certificates of merit from the Central Council of Young Pioneers to individuals who achieved outstanding results in the Beautiful Writing Playground; Children's Painting Contest with the theme "I Draw the Colors of My Homeland"; and the Patriotism Program in Your Way.
