At around 2:00 p.m. on October 31, Dao Duy Tu Ward Police received a report that TTA (born in 2019, residing in Van Thang 1 residential group) was lost on his way to school. His family and school made efforts to search for him but to no avail.

Immediately after receiving the information, Dao Duy Tu Ward Police promptly deployed professional measures. Working groups checked the security camera system in the area around Nguyen Binh Primary School - where A. studied, and neighboring roads.

Dao Duy Tu Ward Police also mobilized officers, soldiers and security and order protection forces to coordinate with the family and school to quickly verify and search for the child.

After nearly 3 hours of searching, the police of Dao Duy Tu ward found A. while he was playing about 1km from the school. The child was then returned to his family in a stable health condition.

Ms. Truong Thi Hop, A.'s aunt, shared: "A.'s parents work far away and leave him with his grandmother to take care of. This year, his grandmother is old and in poor health, so she asked her neighbor's granddaughter, who is in 4th grade at the same school, to take her to school. When she got to school, because she was hyperactive and busy playing, she did not go to class but wandered around looking for a place to play."

According to Ms. Hop, when the teacher called to inform that A. was not in class, the family was very worried that the child had been kidnapped or had gone to dangerous areas.

"My family is very grateful and thankful to the police of Dao Duy Tu ward for their enthusiasm, responsibility and quick work in finding our child," said Ms. Hop.
