Industrial promotion continues to be a priority for Thanh Hoa in the next 5 years from 2026 to 2030. At the same time, anticipating the trend of rural industrial development, Thanh Hoa focuses on supporting businesses to shift from small-scale production to modern scale, from simple processing to deep processing, increasing export value. The locality focuses on industries with clear advantages such as processing of forest products, seafood, fine art stones and production of construction materials.

Another notable goal of Thanh Hoa industrial promotion in the coming period is to strongly promote digital transformation, including from digitalizing production management, automating production lines, to applying digital technology in traceability and trade promotion. Along with that, the province encourages the development of cleaner production, reducing environmental impact, and increasing international competitiveness.

Regarding specific goals, in the new period, Thanh Hoa plans to deploy: 55 - 60 projects to apply advanced machinery and equipment; 40 - 45 projects to support synchronous production lines; 8 - 10 modern-scale technical demonstration models

The above goal is generally recognized as quite challenging, however, with the established foundation, together with the efforts of the government and the rural industrial business community, Thanh Hoa is capable of completing it. Helping the local rural industry have the opportunity to reach out, break through in a more modern, professional and sustainable direction.

Confidence with a good foundation

One of the good foundations that helps Thanh Hoa be confident with its industrial promotion goals in the new period is the impressive results achieved in the 2021-2025 period. In the recent period, Thanh Hoa was one of the leading localities in the country in implementing industrial promotion with 85 projects implemented.

Of which, 37 projects belong to the National Industrial Promotion Program, with a support budget of 17 billion VND; 48 projects belong to the local program, with a budget of more than 12 billion VND. Industrial promotion resources are prioritized for supporting advanced machinery and equipment, technical demonstration models and trade promotion. Many forest product processing enterprises, which are the province's strengths, have changed both their revenue and internal capacity.

Typically, Dai Phat Forestry Company Limited increased productivity by more than 30% thanks to the application of modern film-coated plywood production lines; Dong Tam Production and Trade Company Limited shifted from domestic consumption production to signing stable export orders to Japan and the EU... Not only new equipment, the program also supports businesses to participate in international fairs, register trademarks, and expand markets.

More importantly, in the 2021-2025 period, Thanh Hoa industrial promotion also contributes to creating stable jobs for rural workers; reducing energy costs, protecting the environment; promoting the construction of advanced and exemplary new rural areas. In particular, in this period, counterpart capital from enterprises accounts for 74.4% of the total capital, demonstrating the confidence and determination of production establishments. At the same time, it also proves the strong influence of industrial promotion work.

Despite achieving remarkable results, Thanh Hoa's industrial promotion work still faces certain difficulties when the export market fluctuates strongly, rural workers have uneven skills and not all goals of the previous period are achieved as planned.

Entering the 2026-2030 period, when digital transformation, green trends and circular economy "take the throne", Thanh Hoa is determined to continue to play the leading role in industrial promotion. State support resources will be used as fuel to ignite the internal strength of enterprises, which is the way to sustainable development.

Industrial promotion is not only contributing to raising the level of rural production but also creating a solid industrial foundation, closely linked to the goal of industrialization and modernization of the whole province.

With the positive results achieved in the 2021-2025 period, Thanh Hoa has a good foundation to orient and set high goals for the industrial promotion program in the 2026-2030 period.
