Duong Thi Thanh Truc – From a television student to runner-up of Miss Vietnam Ethnic Tourism 2025

Surpassing dozens of excellent contestants from all over the country, Duong Thi Thanh Truc - a girl from Nga Son, Thanh Hoa, excellently won the runner-up position of Miss Ethnic Tourism Vietnam 2025. Not only impressing with her charming beauty, bright face and confident demeanor, Thanh Truc also conquered the judges with her intelligence, talent and kindness.

Born in 2005, with a height of 1.69m and measurements of 80-60-92, Thanh Truc is currently a student in the Television Editing class K43 at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film. As an exemplary class leader, she actively participates in the university's student union activities and student talent competitions whenever they are launched. Throughout her studies, Truc has continuously honed her stage presence and communication skills, developing a confident, articulate demeanor and strong media acumen – qualities that helped her shine in the beauty pageant.

Besides her studies, Thanh Truc has a particular passion for travel, media, reading, and creating content about Vietnamese culture and people. She is also passionate about performing arts, especially playing musical instruments and singing, because, in her opinion, it's a way to understand life, share emotions, and spread positive energy to others.

Not only beautiful and talented, Duong Thi Thanh Truc is also a highly accomplished student. She won second prize in the "Flamingo Flower Season" talent competition in Nga Son, showcasing her artistic talent and confident performance skills in front of a crowd. She also received a Certificate of Merit from the Youth Union of the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film for her outstanding contributions to the Youth Union movement and volunteer work. For many years, Thanh Truc has been an excellent student, actively participating in academic and artistic activities at the university, and is well-liked by her friends and teachers.

A compassionate heart and a community-oriented spirit are what endear her to many. Runner-up Duong Thi Thanh Truc is particularly dedicated to charitable activities in mountainous regions. Recently, she and her school's volunteer group visited and donated gifts to elementary school students in Son La – an area facing many hardships. This journey helped her better understand the value of compassion and motivated her to dedicate more time to community projects in the future. She is currently developing the "Green Journey to the Homeland" project, aiming to raise awareness of environmental protection and promote sustainable tourism in coastal areas and traditional craft villages in Thanh Hoa.

Sharing her thoughts after the competition, runner-up Thanh Truc said: "A person's value lies not in what they receive, but in what they are willing to give."

That quote serves as a guiding principle, helping her live positively, share with others, and continuously improve herself. For Truc, the journey to Miss Ethnic Tourism Vietnam 2025 is not only an opportunity to affirm herself but also a journey to spread the beauty of ethnic culture and inspire positive living among young people.

In the future, she hopes to participate in community tourism projects, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnam as a friendly, hospitable, and culturally rich country – reflecting the spirit she demonstrated throughout her journey to the crown.
