U22 Vietnam returns to the training ground, looking forward to the match against U22 Korea at Panda Cup 2025

After a day of rest and recovery at the hotel, on November 17, the U22 Vietnam team returned to the training ground to continue preparing for the final match against U22 Korea at the international friendly tournament CFA Team China - Panda Cup 2025.

In the past two matches, U22 Vietnam won 1-0 against host China and lost 0-1 to U22 Uzbekistan in a match where the students of Acting Head Coach Dinh Hong Vinh showed their fighting spirit, created many opportunities but lacked a bit of precision in the final handling.

This afternoon's training session took place in a serious but relaxed atmosphere. The coaching staff prioritized adjusting the appropriate amount of exercise, helping the players ensure their physical foundation as well as maintain their concentration before the final match.

Previously, coach Dinh Hong Vinh affirmed that the match with U22 Korea - a team with a strong physical foundation, speed and modern playing style - is an important opportunity for U22 Vietnam to continue testing its strength, accumulate experience and perfect its playing style before entering the final preparation stage for the 33rd SEA Games and the 2026 AFC U23 Championship Finals.

The match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Korea will take place at 2:30 p.m. (Vietnam time) on November 18. An important mental support for U22 Vietnam before this match is the result of the most recent confrontation between the two teams. In March 2025, U22 Vietnam made a strong impression when holding U22 Korea to a 1-1 draw, also at the CFA Team China tournament organized by the Chinese Football Association. At that time, Thanh Nhan opened the score in the 52nd minute after his signature sprint, and it was not until the 90+1 minute that Kim Woo-bin equalized for the young team of Kim Chi.
