Happy teacher

Singing well, dancing beautifully, loving her job, and loving children, but it was not until she was 39 years old that she had the opportunity to become a kindergarten teacher. That was in the mid-90s, she was one of the workers in charge of taking care of children at the Rubber Plantation, which was handed over to the Department of Education and Training for management. After passing the teacher training exam, studying for 2 years, graduating, she went to work at a public school, filled with happiness because she was a teacher.

That year, she started her journey at a high school with only 3 rooms, divided into working corners for the Board of Directors and study corners for a few groups of children. It was called a classroom but there were only a few chairs, not even a table, and so the teachers and students danced, sang, spelled, counted, added and subtracted in joy.

After the internship period, she was selected for the staff, and every year she completed her tasks excellently, had many initiatives in making her own teaching aids, achieved the title of excellent teacher, had many children achieve the title of healthy and good children, and was awarded and commended by all levels. And she was happy because she chose the right profession and the profession nurtured and trained her to become an excellent teacher, recognized by all levels, and above all, trusted by parents, loved and respected by students.

Fundamentally and comprehensively innovating education and training to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization, including strengthening and developing the non-public education system, she promoted her experience and capacity, boldly built and put into operation a private kindergarten. Thereby meeting the need to send children of industrial park workers stationed in the area, contributing to solving the local overload of public schools.

Having her family trust and support has given her more motivation to continue her career of "growing people". Investing and devoting both financial and material resources to the Thai Duong kindergarten with hope, that is both her belief and desire to contribute. From 2 groups of children, only 20 children on the first day of school, each year the rate of children attending school increases exponentially; the quality of education is highly appreciated by the management agency, the pedagogical council is now operating in a disciplined manner, the school has become a bright spot in education in the area. She is happy because she can directly care for and educate children and see her students grow up every day.

Time flies, 30 ferry trips have crossed the river, that teacher is now nearly 60 but still diligently calculates and goes to the market herself, selects each bunch of vegetables, each kilo of meat, each fish and directly processes and cooks to ensure that students have nutritious meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene. In addition, the teacher also enthusiastically participates in teaching, visiting classes, observing, operating and managing the educational facility to operate effectively. The teacher's happiness is simply watching the children eat well, sleep soundly, and play and study passionately, because that is the joy and motivation for her to continue to strive for the education career.

Only then do we know that when each person creates value and has desires and aspirations to reach and achieve success, happiness will blossom. Because it is a process of learning, training, dedication and maturity. And the happiness of that teacher will be a source of positive energy, spreading to colleagues, parents and preschool students so that every day at school is truly a happy day.
