That year, she began her journey at a secondary school with only three rooms, divided into areas for the principal's office and study corners for a few groups of children. They were called classrooms, but there were only a few chairs, not even a desk, and so the teachers and students danced, sang, spelled words, counted, and did addition and subtraction with great joy.
After completing her probationary period, she was recruited into the permanent staff and consistently performed her duties excellently each year. She had many innovative ideas in creating her own teaching aids, earned the title of "Excellent Teacher," and had many children receive the "Healthy and Well-Behaved Child" award, receiving commendations and praise from various levels. She is happy that she chose the right profession, and that the profession has nurtured and molded her into an outstanding educator, recognized by all levels, and above all, trusted by parents and respected by her students.
Fundamentally and comprehensively reforming education and training to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization, including strengthening and developing the non-public education system, she leveraged her experience and capabilities to boldly establish and operate a private preschool. This met the childcare needs of industrial zone workers in the area, contributing to resolving the localized overcrowding in public schools.
With the trust and support of her family, she was further motivated to dedicate herself to the cause of "nurturing future generations." She invested and devoted both financial and material resources to the Thai Duong kindergarten, driven by her belief and desire to contribute. From just two groups of 20 children on the first day of school, the number of children attending has increased exponentially each year; the quality of education has been highly praised by the management agency, the teaching staff now operates in an organized manner, and the school has become a shining example of education in the area. She is happy to directly care for and educate the children and to see her students grow day by day.
Time flies, and 30 ferry trips have passed. Now in her late 50s, this teacher still diligently calculates and personally goes to the market, selecting each bunch of vegetables, kilogram of meat, and fish, and directly preparing and cooking meals to ensure her students have nutritious and safe food. In addition, she enthusiastically participates in teaching, visiting classes, observing lessons, and managing the educational institution effectively. Her happiness is simply watching the children eat well, sleep soundly, and happily play and learn; that is her joy and motivation to continue striving for the cause of education.
