QTO - Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park (PNH-Ke Bang) with its outstanding global values ​​in geology, geomorphology and biodiversity has been twice recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The UNESCO World Natural Heritage title given to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park has created a big "boost" for the local socio-economic development, contributing to making Phong Nha-Ke Bang a famous destination domestically and internationally.

Director of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park Management Board Pham Hong Thai informed that in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, in addition to traditional tourism products, such as: Visiting Phong Nha-Tien Son cave, Thien Duong cave, Chay river-Dark cave, Mooc stream, Botanical garden... in recent times, many new tourism products have also been invested and put into operation, such as: Exploring Rao Thuong-En cave nature; Hamada valley-Tra Ang cave; Va cave, Nuoc Nut cave - different experiences; exploring Dai A cave, Over cave and Pygmy cave; exploring Hung Thoong, Ozo Park,... especially the tourism product "Conquering Son Doong - the largest cave in the world ".

“Up to now, there are 18 tourist routes and destinations in operation in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. In the period of 2021-2025, the total number of visitors to the National Park reached more than 3 million, with revenue reaching more than 1,000 billion VND. Currently, tourism development in the National Park has been and is being promoted effectively, thereby contributing to affirming the position and tourism brand of Quang Tri province in the domestic, regional and international markets...”, Director of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park Management Board Pham Hong Thai shared.

Implementing the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, which identified tourism as one of the four pillars of socio -economic development; the project of eco-tourism, resort and entertainment in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park for the period 2021-2030 has been approved, along with the policy of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the eco-tourism project "Discovering the Green Cypress - Kling Cave". Recently, the Management Board of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park organized the signing of a cooperation contract with AREM Tourism Joint Stock Company to exploit the eco-tourism project "Discovering the Green Cypress - Kling Cave".

The project is implemented in sub-areas 643, 645 and 288A of Thuong Trach commune. The total investment capital of the project is nearly 4.3 billion VND, implemented by AREM Tourism Joint Stock Company. The cooperation period lasts until the end of 2030. The goal of the project is to exploit and promote the values ​​and potentials of the World Natural Heritage to develop tourism in the National Park, including effectively exploiting the tourism product "Discovering Stone Green Bach and Kling Cave" to develop sustainable tourism, meeting the increasing demand for sightseeing and exploration of tourists; contributing to diversifying tourism products in the National Park; creating jobs, increasing income for local people and contributing to the state budget. The investment items are designed to be minimalist and environmentally friendly. The project includes 3 tour programs: 1 day, 2 days 1 night and 3 days 2 nights.

Director of AREM Tourism Joint Stock Company Pham Quy Sy said that this is the first tourism product that combines the experience of exploring the rare ancient green stone cypress tree population with the majestic cave system in the Heritage area. Through exploiting this tourism product, visitors not only conquer the magical beauty of nature underground, but also have the opportunity to admire and learn about the biological, historical and cultural values ​​of the hundreds of years old green cypress forest population, which is considered the "green treasure" of Phong Nha-Ke Bang forest.

“This is a new and innovative direction, contributing to diversifying the eco-tourism products of the National Park; at the same time honoring and preserving the value of primeval forest resources associated with the unique cave system - two important elements that create the outstanding global value of the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park…”, Mr. Pham Quy Sy added.
