On the morning of November 17, the Government Inspectorate held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Inspectorate's Traditional Day (November 23, 1945 - November 23, 2025).

With the theme "Keeping the oath of integrity to the Party and the People", the 80th Anniversary of Vietnam Inspectorate's Traditional Day aims to review the glorious tradition; pay tribute to generations of leaders, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers; and together confidently and proudly step into the new era with the aspiration to contribute to a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
80 years ago, on November 23, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh signed Decree No. 64/SL establishing the Special Inspectorate. This event marked the birth of the Vietnamese Inspectorate and became the traditional day of the industry.
Throughout its 80-year history of construction and development, the Inspection sector has strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, always maintained its mettle, and continuously strived to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
The Inspection sector has continued the glorious tradition, promoting the qualities of "Solidarity - Discipline - Courage - Innovation - Development", affirming its important role in monitoring and preventing corruption and waste, contributing to political stability and socio-economic development.

Delivering a commemorative speech, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong affirmed that, over 80 years of construction and development, the Inspectorate has always accompanied the country through many historical moments with two glorious long-term resistance wars of the nation and accompanied the nation in the cause of innovation, promoting industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
To carry out its mission in each historical revolutionary period, the Inspectorate is assigned many functions and tasks with different names, such as: Special Inspectorate, Government Inspectorate, Central Inspectorate of the Government, Government Inspectorate Committee, State Inspectorate Committee, State Inspectorate, Government Inspectorate.
The apparatus, organization and force of the Inspection sector are constantly growing and gradually being improved from the central to local levels.
" Inspection officers always maintain their political qualities and mettle, demonstrating their role as the core force in the fight against corruption, waste, negativity, and maintaining discipline and order in the State administration, " Mr. Doan Hong Phong emphasized.
According to the Government Inspector General, the Inspectorate is proud to have strived to make important contributions to the great, historical, and epochal achievements of the country with bold marks and outstanding results.
