The National Assembly Chairman said that from now until the end of the year and early 2026, many important events of the country will take place such as: the 14th National Congress of the Party, the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.

On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man requested Hanoi to focus on directing the implementation of the recent City Congress Resolution; gradually and thoroughly resolve four issues: traffic congestion; urban order, green, clean, beautiful, civilized; environmental pollution, water and air pollution and flooding in urban and suburban areas; and strive to achieve and exceed the set socio-economic targets.
