In the next 3 - 6 hours, the common accumulated rainfall is as follows: Ha Tinh, Hue City, Da Nang City and Quang Ngai from 30 - 70 mm, some places over 150 mm; Quang Tri, Gia Lai and Dak Lak 10 - 30 mm, some places over 70 mm; Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong 5 - 10 mm, some places over 30 mm.

Due to unusually heavy rains far exceeding forecasts, floods on the Bo, Huong, Vu Gia, Thu Bon, and Tra Khuc rivers are rising rapidly. Along with that, there is a risk of flash floods, landslides , and land subsidence on slopes and small streams in Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong.

The rain is spreading and increasing in volume to other areas in the South and the North Central region. The heavy rain in the Central provinces is forecast to continue until November 19.

The strong cold air mass that has been reported is still moving south. From this evening and tonight, November 17, the temperature in the midlands, the Northern Delta and the North Central region will turn cold, the Northern mountainous region will be very cold, and some high mountainous areas will be very cold . The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the midlands, the Northern Delta and the North Central region will generally be from 12 to 15 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas from 9 to 12 degrees Celsius, and in the high mountainous areas, some places will be below 8 degrees Celsius.

In Hanoi, the weather is turning cold with showers, the lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 13 - 15 degrees Celsius.
