In less than a month, Hue residents had to flee the flood four times. Many residents in the flood-prone areas of Hue seem exhausted from dealing with the floods.
Hurriedly cleaning up items at the bookstore, Ms. Ho Thanh An, Thuan Hoa ward, Hue city, tiredly said: "The floodwaters rose so quickly, my whole family was surprised. To protect our property, my family members had to quickly raise our property and move our cars to higher areas to avoid the flood. Although I am used to floods, I am very tired."
In Van Cu village, Kim Tra ward, Hue city, flood water rose rapidly, causing widespread flooding, isolating local residents.
While traveling by boat out of the village to buy food for his family, Nguyen Sinh Quoc, a resident of Van Cu village, Kim Tra ward, lamented: "The water rose so quickly that I couldn't react in time. Last night, the water was still low, and the road was still passable. By this morning, the water had flooded deeply, isolating my residence. I had to ask someone to take me by boat out of the village to buy food in case the floodwaters stay for a long time."

Also living in Kim Tra ward, frustrated with the repeated flooding in less than a month, Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoan complained: "This is the first time I have witnessed repeated flooding in less than a month. Everyone in my village is very tired of having to raise their property high, then having to clean up mud after the water recedes. Hopefully, this flood will recede quickly."
Driving the Hue - Da Nang route, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy has to constantly keep up with information about the flooding situation on National Highway 1A. Mr. Huy shared: "Every time I hear about flooding in Hue, I have to update information about flooding to move safely. Because on National Highway 1A through Phu Loc, Hue city, there is often a situation where water overflows across the road, which is very dangerous. Luckily, this morning the water has not flooded yet. My car is still moving normally."
