Colonel Dang Ngoc Hieu, Political Commissar of the City Border Guard, awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

In 5 years, the Hue City Border Guard has coordinated with agencies and departments to organize 76 training courses for more than 6,200 cadres, reporters, propagandists, village heads, residential group leaders and armed forces officers. The training content includes the basic and core points of the Law on Border Guard, decrees, circulars guiding its implementation and issues related to the rights and obligations of citizens in border areas and sea areas. Thereby, helping grassroots cadres grasp the content, improve their propaganda capacity, and effectively apply it to practical work.

Units have effectively promoted direct propaganda combined with indirect propaganda through the grassroots radio system, billboards, posters, leaflets, mobile loudspeakers, social networks and mass media. Activities such as "Vietnam Law Day", "National Border Guard Festival", "Book and Reading Culture Day", law competitions, golden bell competitions... have contributed to bringing the Law on Border Guard Vietnam closer to all classes of people, helping the law to truly "penetrate life".

Competitions to learn about the law and traditions of the Border Guard were held widely. The writing contest "Learning about the border and the 60-year tradition of the Border Guard of Hue City" attracted nearly 3,000 entries; the photo contest "Proud of the border and sea of ​​the homeland" had nearly 500 entries. The online contest "Learning about the Law of Border Guard of Vietnam" was held on the Hue-S application platform, attracting tens of thousands of participants, creating a strong spread in the community.

The City Border Guard Command has coordinated with the Department of Justice and relevant units to compile, print and distribute more than 27,000 leaflets, brochures, 4,300 legal books, 2,635 DVDs; received and published 410 books and outlines to propagate the Law on Border Guard.

The city currently maintains 13 legal bookcases at Border Guard units, 155 legal bookcases given to offshore fishing vessels and 33 bookcases consolidated in communes and wards in border areas, so that officers, soldiers and people can learn and research the law, form the habit of learning and voluntarily complying with the law in the community.

Models and movements associated with legal propaganda work have been deployed and achieved practical results. Typical programs include: "Border Spring warms the hearts of the villagers", "Accompanying women in the border areas", "Green military uniform route", "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of Border Guard Station", "Returning to the village day"...

After 5 years of implementation, the Project has brought about comprehensive results: Raising legal awareness of cadres, soldiers and people; the movement of the entire people participating in protecting territorial sovereignty and border security has been widely developed; national defense and security in the area have been maintained, creating a solid foundation for the city's socio-economic development.

The conference drew lessons, proposed directions, solutions, and key tasks for the coming time. On this occasion, 3 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements were awarded certificates of merit by the Border Guard Command; 1 collective and 2 individuals were proposed to be awarded certificates of merit by the Border Guard Command.

On the same afternoon, the Hue City Border Guard Command held a ceremony to launch an emulation campaign to accelerate and break through to successfully complete the goals and tasks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026) and the 14th National Party Congress.
