The 2025 Panda Cup friendly tournament will enter its final round, with the match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Korea at 2:30 p.m., while the host team U22 China will face U22 Uzbekistan at 6:35 p.m.
Notably, after the last two rounds, all four teams have three points with one win and one draw. After winning 1-0 against China in the opening match, the U22 Vietnam team lost to U22 Uzbekistan with the same score.

After defeating Uzbekistan 2-0 in the opening match, U22 Korea surprisingly lost to host China 0-2. Therefore, the final round of the tournament will become extremely attractive and the chance to win the championship is divided equally among all 4 teams, despite the host China holding the advantage of leading the table thanks to being better than the remaining 3 teams in the secondary index.
In the final round, U22 Vietnam is still full of hope to win the championship if they get good results against U22 Korea and if the result between U22 China and U22 Uzbekistan is favorable for coach Dinh Hong Vinh's team.
Accordingly, U22 Vietnam will win the 2025 Panda Cup championship if they defeat U22 Korea in the final round, while the result between U22 China and U22 Uzbekistan is a draw.
Coach Dinh Hong Vinh's team will also win the championship if they beat U22 Korea by a larger margin than the remaining match between U22 China and U22 Uzbekistan.
In fact, although the Korean team has always been a top team in Asia, the current young generation of the "Kimchi country" team is not a very strong force and shows that their performance is not really stable. Earlier this year, also at a friendly tournament in China, U22 Vietnam held U22 Korea to a 1-1 draw.
And at the Panda Cup 2025, after defeating U22 Uzbekistan, the Korean U22 team disappointed again when they lost to U22 China - the team that had just lost to U22 Vietnam in the opening match.
However, before the decisive match with U22 Korea, coach Dinh Hong Vinh still expressed caution when emphasizing: "U22 Korea is a very strong team. Their players have good speed and a modern playing style.
In addition, Korean players always have the habit of moving all over the field. Playing in the U22 Korea team, we have to play in an organized manner, maintaining the team's distance. I will analyze the match with U22 Uzbekistan, consider the players' physical condition, before making appropriate adjustments in the next match against U22 Korea."
