Latest update on Sesko's injury, MU breathes a sigh of relief

According to Sky Sports, Benjamin Sesko will be out of action for at most a month after injuring his knee at the end of the match against Tottenham.

Sesko was injured after trying to score but failed. After being treated by the doctors, he still had to limp into the tunnel with a grimace.

The Slovenian striker cannot return to the national team and will definitely miss the next few matches of MU.

However, Sesko avoided a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.

Sky Sports revealed that Sesko's recovery time is expected to be one month. Therefore, if progress is good, he could return to the match against Wolves on December 8.

This schedule will keep Sesko out of at least three Premier League matches, with MU playing Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham.

When asked about his student's injury, Amorim was quite cautious. He was also worried about losing his number one striker for a few months.

Fortunately for the Portuguese manager, the £72 million signing is ready to return before Christmas.

With Sesko out injured, Amorim still have Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, Amad Diallo and Joshua Zirkzee to choose from in attack for this weekend's clash with Everton.
