Implementing the directive on proactively responding to heavy rains, flash floods, and landslides in the context of the rapidly rising water level of the Ba River, the locality has reviewed and identified many traffic locations and residential areas at risk of deep flooding. Units in these areas are required to activate response plans at the highest level.

The Commune People's Committee requested the functional forces and village heads to urgently control and prohibit people and vehicles from passing through flooded sections to ensure safety. The areas at risk of being isolated and deeply flooded are in the villages of My Thanh Dong 1, Phuoc Thanh Dong, Phuoc Thinh, My Le Tay, My Le Dong, Phuoc My Tay, Phuoc My, Lac Nghiep and Phuoc Nong.
By the evening of the same day, the water level of the Ba River continued to rise, many roads in low-lying areas in Lac Nghiep, Phuoc Nong and My Le Tay villages began to be flooded, making it difficult for people to travel.

The commune leaders requested the village chief to notify people to proactively move furniture and essential items to safe locations; at the same time, assign functional forces to be on duty at the agency to promptly direct response measures and mobilize police and military forces to block 24/7 flooded roads, spillways, and areas with fast-flowing water to prevent people from passing through to ensure safety during times of high flood waters.
Previously, the provincial meteorological agency warned of the possibility of floods on rivers due to prolonged rain, along with the risk of flash floods and landslides. The flood peak in the Serepok and Ba river basins reached alert levels 1 to 2, with some places above alert level 2; the Ky Lo, Ban Thach and Tam Giang rivers reached alert levels 2 to 3, with some places above alert level 3.
