Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet attended the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day.

Attending the event were alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors, and a large number of cadres and teachers who have worked and are working in the education and training sector.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the tradition of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20; acknowledged the results that the provincial education sector has achieved in the past time, including the important role of the team of cadres, teachers and employees of the whole sector.

Last school year, the provincial education and training sector completed the targets and tasks according to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee. The whole province currently has 1,379 educational institutions with nearly 710,000 students; of which ethnic minority students account for 35.7%. The whole sector currently has nearly 38,330 cadres, civil servants and workers.

The quality of mass education and key education has been improved and developed strongly. For many years, Dak Lak province has been the leader in the Central Coast and Central Highlands regions in terms of national high school student achievements; and has won many high prizes in science, technology, and startup competitions.

Speaking at the meeting, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet acknowledged and commended the achievements of the education sector; at the same time, expressed deep gratitude to teachers.

The country is entering a new era of development with many breakthrough requirements; Dak Lak province and the whole country effectively operate the two-level local government model with the spirit of "Under one roof - Under one vision - Under one aspiration", aiming to build a new Dak Lak culture and people, connecting - creating - developing.

In the coming time, the education and training sector needs to well implement the Resolution of the 1st Dak Lak Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development...

Focusing on building a synchronous, streamlined and effective provincial education system; building a creative, safe and friendly learning environment; building a team of teachers and educational managers with sufficient quantity and quality, combined with strengthening political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education for cadres and teachers...

Outstanding collective representative received the emulation flag awarded by the Provincial People's Committee.

The Provincial Party Secretary also hopes that teachers will continue to maintain their professional qualifications; be more innovative and creative; love their profession and students more so that each class will be an environment to nurture personality and nurture talent for the province.

The ceremony also organized the awarding of Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, Dong Du Middle School and High School for their outstanding achievements in the 2024-2025 school year.
