Ea Sup Irrigation Branch has sent a document to the Civil Defense Command and People's Committees of the communes: Ea Sup, Ea Bung, Ea Rok, Ia Rve, Ia Lop to regulate water through the spillway of Ea Sup Thuong lake and Ea Sup Ha lake.

Specifically, according to the forecast of the hydrometeorological agency, from the morning of November 17 to the night of November 18, 2025, the western communes of the province will have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall from 50 - 100 mm, locally very heavy rain over 200 mm.

According to monitoring data, at 7:00 a.m. on November 17, the water level at Ea Sup Thuong Lake was at 217.51 ​​m, and Ea Sup Ha Lake was at 196.4 m. To proactively respond to heavy rains over large areas in the lake basins, the project management and operation unit will regulate the increase in water flow through the spillway of Ea Sup Thuong Lake and Ea Sup Ha Lake to reduce the amount of water in the reservoir.

Specifically, Ea Sup Thuong Lake will open 2 spillways from 3:00 p.m. on November 17, with an opening flow of 50 - 350 ^m3 /s; Ea Sup Ha Lake will open 2 spillways from 3:00 p.m. on November 17, with an opening flow of 10 - 50 ^m3 /s. In case of widespread heavy rain, the Branch will increase the flow through the spillway to ensure the safety of the project and in accordance with the approved Operation Procedure.

The operation and regulation of reservoirs aims to ensure safety for works during the rainy season and store water for the winter-spring period of 2025 - 2026.

Ea Sup Irrigation Branch informs the authorities, functional agencies and people to proactively prevent, especially areas along Ea Sup stream, low-lying areas at high risk of flooding .
