41 trade union officials from across the province participated in the congress with a common goal: building a strong trade union organization in the new era.

The Congress of the grassroots Trade Union Committee of the Trade Union Affairs Department took place in the context of the Vietnam Trade Union organization continuing to implement Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW of the Politburo on "Renewing the organization and activities of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation," promoting activities directed towards the grassroots, caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
Currently, the Trade Union Committee has 46 members, including 24 female members. The Executive Committee always proactively advises and proposes to the Party Committee and the higher-level Trade Union on the implementation of policies and plans related to cadres, union members, workers, and trade union activities within the unit.

During the 2025-2030 term, the situation of the country, localities, and trade union organizations is projected to present many opportunities and advantages, but also intertwined with many difficulties and challenges.
The national digital transformation process, the development of a knowledge-based economy , and deep international integration will create new demands on officials, union members, workers, and trade union organizations.
The policy of streamlining the apparatus, reforming the operating methods of the political system, and building e-government and digital government requires the workforce to improve their capacity and skills in applying information technology, digital skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to change.

To achieve the goal of fostering closer ties with workers, the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions has established 11 commune, ward, and special zone labor unions, including the Labor Unions of La Gi Ward, Phuoc Hoi Ward, Duc Linh Commune, Ham Kiem Commune, Ham Thang Commune, Lien Huong Commune, Phan Thiet Ward, Mui Ne Ward, Tien Thanh Ward, Phu Thuy Ward, and Phu Quy Special Zone.
Lam Dong province is also continuing to establish 18 commune and ward trade unions to closely monitor the grassroots level and protect workers' rights in a thorough, swift, and timely manner.
