In the brilliant flower garden of Cao Bang province's education sector, there is a flower with a simple beauty, exuding the fragrance of dedication and passion - that is teacher Hoang Thi Cuc, a teacher at Nguyen Binh Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (PTDTNT THCS Nguyen Binh). Born and raised in Quang Uyen commune ( Cao Bang province), after graduating with a major in Literature - History from Thai Nguyen University of Education, in October 2012, Ms. Hoang Thi Cuc started working at Nguyen Binh Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. This is a special school, where most of the students are children of ethnic minorities in remote communes, far from their families, and living in difficult conditions.

From the very first days of her career, Ms. Cuc told herself: being a teacher at a boarding school is not only about teaching, but also about being a mother, a sister, and a spiritual support for students. Therefore, the classroom is not only a place to impart knowledge, but also a second home, where she and her colleagues take care of every meal, sleep, and practice each living routine for the students. On cold winter days, in the bitter cold of the highlands, when it is not yet dawn, she is present at the dormitory, gently knocking on each room door to wake up the students, reminding them to wear warm clothes and have a full breakfast before class. When students are sick, she takes the place of relatives to take care of them and care for them like a real mother: cooking porridge, measuring temperature, staying up all night by the sickbed. With shy and unconfident students, especially ethnic minority students who are away from home for the first time, she persistently encourages and guides them step by step, helping them become more confident in their studies and activities. In this remote school with many difficulties, from simple actions of wholehearted devotion to her beloved students, Ms. Cuc is not only a teacher in the classroom, but has also become a reliable support , a "second mother" in the journey of maturity of many generations of students.
