Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan is Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.

On the morning of November 17th, the 14th Provincial People's Council of Thai Nguyen held its 8th session to consider and decide on personnel matters within its authority as prescribed by law.

The session proceeded to vote on and approve the Resolution to relieve Mr. Pham Hoang Son from his position as Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, 14th term, 2021-2026, due to his reassignment and appointment by the Central Party Secretariat to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, 2025-2030 term.

Next, the Provincial People's Council proceeded with the election process for the Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, electing Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

As a result, 100% of the provincial People's Council delegates present voted in favor, electing Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan as Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the 14th term, 2021-2026, and passed a Resolution confirming the election results.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that this is an honor, a great responsibility, and a significant duty before the Party, the State, the Party Committee, the government, the provincial People's Council delegates, the voters, and the people of the entire province.

In his new position, the new Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province pledged to dedicate himself wholeheartedly to serving the interests of the people and the overall development of the province, and together with the collective of the Provincial People's Committee, to continue to unite, innovate, and act, striving to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan was born in 1977 in Kinh Bac ward, Bac Ninh city (formerly), now Kinh Bac ward, Bac Ninh province. He holds a PhD in Business Administration.

From May 2012 to May 2015, Mr. Tuan served as the Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union. From May 2015 to July 2020, he held the position of Secretary of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee.

From July 2020 to July 2024, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan held the positions of Vice Chairman and Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province.

At the 13th National Congress of the Party, he was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Central Committee of the Party, for the term 2021-2026.

From July 2024 to November 2025, Mr. Tuan will hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province.
