Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan is Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.

On the morning of November 17, the 14th Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council held the 8th session to review and decide on personnel work within its authority according to regulations.

The meeting voted to pass a resolution to dismiss Mr. Pham Hoang Son from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province for the 14th term of 2021-2026, because he was assigned by the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Next, the Provincial People's Council conducted the process of electing the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

As a result, 100% of the Provincial People's Council delegates present voted in favor, electing Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, term XIV, 2021-2026, and passed a Resolution confirming the election results.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that this is an honor, a great responsibility and duty before the Party, the State, the Party Committee, the government, the provincial People's Council delegates, voters and people of the whole province.

In his new position, the new Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee promises to wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly serve the interests of the people and the common development of the province, together with the Provincial People's Committee, continue to unite, innovate and act, and strive to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan was born in 1977 in Kinh Bac ward, Bac Ninh city (old), now Kinh Bac ward, Bac Ninh province. He is a PhD in Business Administration.

From May 2012 to May 2015, Mr. Tuan was Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union. From May 2015 to July 2020, he held the position of Secretary of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee.

From July 2020 to July 2024, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan held the positions of Vice Chairman and Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province.

At the 13th National Congress of the Party, he was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021-2026.

From July 2024 to November 2025, Mr. Tuan held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province.
