Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan received and worked with leaders of Qorvo Group

BAC NINH - On the afternoon of November 10, Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province received and worked with leaders of Qorvo Group (USA). Also attending were representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches.

Here, Mr. Gernot Fattinger, Vice President of Technology, Qorvo Group, informed that Qorvo is the world's leading semiconductor technology group, specializing in providing advanced solutions in the fields of radio frequency and power management, playing an important role in most of today's connected ecosystems.

With these advantages, Mr. Gernot Fattinger said that the Group will invest in Bac Ninh as soon as possible, first of all, building a Lab room to research and design advanced packaging processes, cooperating in training human resources, and looking for partners who are private enterprises in Bac Ninh.

He hopes that the province will create favorable conditions for the Group to promote investment, support faster visa approval to promote technology transfer, and support taxes for the import of high-tech equipment. The Group is willing to cooperate with domestic enterprises of the province to support the development and training of high-quality human resources.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of Qorvo Group to work in the province. He congratulated the impressive results in production and business activities that the Group has achieved, especially in the field of semiconductor technology.

At the same time, he expressed his joy at the Group's main orientations to build a Research and Development Center for creative activities to create new technologies and new products on a large scale in Bac Ninh.

Here, he briefly informed about the socio -economic development situation of the province, some policies to support investment, training human resources in the semiconductor industry, semiconductor approach, and specific mechanisms and policies for the semiconductor industry. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the province will deploy the construction of a concentrated information technology park, a smart computing center, aiming to become "Vietnam's Silicon Valley". This will be the premise for Bac Ninh's semiconductor industry to make a breakthrough in the coming time.

He hoped that the Group would give advice to Bac Ninh to develop a large-scale semiconductor center, promoting cooperation between the Group and private enterprises participating in the supply chain. Regarding the Group's recommendations, the province committed to accompanying and providing maximum support for enterprises to explore investment opportunities and operate effectively in the area.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented the delegation with a Dong Ho folk painting - a typical product of Bac Ninh.
