The Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Quang Tri) said that the unit has received two prestigious awards within the framework of the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2025 ceremony held in October in Hong Kong (China).
The awards include: Vietnam's Leading Nature Destination 2025; Asia's Leading National Park 2025.

The victory at the World Travel Awards 2025 has officially opened a new and promising chapter for Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, while recognizing the tireless efforts of Quang Tri province in preserving and sustainably developing the natural treasures of humanity.
According to Mr. Pham Hong Thai, Director of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board, being honored by WTA at both national and continental levels is a historic turning point. "This is not just a trophy, but a 'golden guarantee' of quality, which has an influence on the psychology and decisions of international tourists."
Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park is one of the largest and most unique conservation areas in Vietnam, with an area of about 201,000 hectares, home to hundreds of caves and an endemic ecosystem in the limestone mountains of the North Truong Son.

Not only is it a place with diverse biological values and natural landscapes, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park is also famous for its majestic and magnificent cave system, and is known as the "Kingdom of Caves" of the world.
Notable among them are Phong Nha Cave - one of the caves with the longest underground river in the world; Thien Duong Cave - home to the most unique and magnificent stalactite and stalagmite system in Asia; and especially Son Doong Cave, the largest cave in the world that has been praised by many international media agencies.
In addition, the Park also has many famous natural landscapes such as Chay River, Gao Forest, Gio Waterfall, Mo Waterfall, Mooc Stream..., attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park has been recognized twice by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage. The first time in 2003, the heritage was honored according to geological and geomorphological criteria. In 2015, Phong Nha - Ke Bang continued to be recognized for the second time thanks to its outstanding value in biodiversity, affirming its position as a global natural treasure.
