The Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board (Quang Tri province) announced that it received two prestigious awards at the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2025 ceremony held in Hong Kong (China) in October.
The awards include: Vietnam's Leading Nature Destination 2025; Asia's Leading National Park 2025.

Winning at the World Travel Awards 2025 officially opened a promising new chapter for Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, while also recognizing the tireless efforts of Quang Tri province in preserving and sustainably developing this natural treasure of humanity.
According to Mr. Pham Hong Thai, Director of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board, being honored by the WTA at both the national and continental levels is a historic turning point. "This is not just a trophy, but a 'golden guarantee' of quality, which influences the psychology and decisions of international tourists."
Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park is one of the largest and most unique conservation areas in Vietnam, covering an area of approximately 201,000 hectares. It boasts hundreds of caves and a unique ecosystem endemic to the limestone mountain region of the Northern Truong Son Mountains.

Not only is Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park rich in biodiversity and natural landscapes, but it is also famous for its magnificent cave system, earning it the title of the "Cave Kingdom" of the world.
Among them, the highlights include Phong Nha Cave - one of the caves with the longest underground river in the world; Thien Duong Cave - home to the most unique and magnificent system of stalactites and stalagmites in Asia; and especially Son Doong Cave, the world's largest cave, which has been praised by many international media outlets.
In addition, the park boasts many famous natural attractions such as the Chay River, Gao Forest, Gio Waterfall, Mo Waterfall, Mooc Stream, etc., attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park has been recognized twice by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site. The first time was in 2003, when the site was honored based on its geological and geomorphological criteria. In 2015, Phong Nha - Ke Bang received a second recognition for its outstanding biodiversity, affirming its status as a global natural treasure.
