Van Giang Commune: 620 people participated in the voluntary blood donation festival

On the morning of November 11, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation coordinated with the Blood Transfusion Center (Viet Duc Friendship Hospital) to organize a voluntary blood donation festival with the theme "Donating blood to save lives - A noble gesture".

Volunteers are screened before donating blood.

The festival attracted 620 volunteers who are cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, workers and people in 4 communes: Van Giang, Phung Cong, Me So, Nghia Tru to participate in blood donation.

As a result, the Organizing Committee received 561 qualified blood units, exceeding the plan by 10%.

All of this blood will be transferred to the storage of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital to promptly treat cases requiring blood transfusion, contributing significantly to the treatment and saving the lives of many patients.
