Thuan Hoa Commune organizes Voluntary Blood Donation Day

(CT) - On October 27, at Thuan Hoa Commune Health Station, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Thuan Hoa Commune (Can Tho City) coordinated with Can Tho City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital to organize the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Festival with the theme "One drop of blood given, one life left behind".

A large number of volunteers participated in blood donation.

The event attracted 170 registered participants, including officials, civil servants, union members, association members, and a large number of local residents. As a result, the organizing committee received 84 units of blood, contributing to supplementing the blood reserve for emergency and treatment purposes at medical facilities.

According to the commune's Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, the activity aims to raise community awareness of the profound humanitarian significance of donating blood to save lives, while spreading the spirit of sharing and compassion, contributing to the effective implementation of the voluntary blood donation movement in the commune in 2025.

Through this event, the voluntary blood donation movement in Thuan Hoa commune continues to be maintained and developed, becoming a beautiful cultural feature of the locality, demonstrating the spirit of "every drop of blood given saves a life".
