Thuan Hoa Commune organizes Voluntary Blood Donation Day

(CT) - On October 27, at Thuan Hoa Commune Health Station, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Thuan Hoa Commune (Can Tho City) coordinated with Can Tho City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital to organize the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Festival with the theme "One drop of blood given, one life left behind".

Many volunteers participated in donating blood.

The festival attracted 170 participants; including officials, civil servants, union members, association members and a large number of local residents. As a result, the Organizing Committee received 84 units of blood, contributing to supplementing the blood reserve for emergency and treatment work at medical facilities.

According to the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in the commune, the activity aims to raise community awareness of the profound humanitarian significance of donating blood to save lives, while spreading the spirit of sharing and kindness, contributing to the effective implementation of the voluntary blood donation movement in 2025 in the commune.

Through the Festival, the voluntary blood donation movement in Thuan Hoa commune continues to be maintained and developed, becoming a beautiful local culture, demonstrating the spirit of "every drop of blood given - a life left behind".
