According to the Hoa Thinh Commune People's Committee, recent floods have inundated many residential areas, generating a large amount of waste and mud, posing a potential risk of environmental pollution and disease outbreaks. This environmental sanitation campaign is being implemented quickly, widely, and comprehensively, prioritizing the treatment of pollution hotspots, common areas, and places with high pedestrian traffic.
From early morning, a bustling atmosphere of work prevailed along inter-village roads and in areas around markets, schools, and health centers.
The campaign mobilized 30 motorized vehicles to collect and transport mud, fallen trees, and household waste carried by floodwaters to centralized treatment sites. The mud and animal carcasses were buried or transported to safe collection points, ensuring no environmental pollution occurred.
