According to Mr. An's family, the two children usually play here, and luckily no one was in the room when the incident occurred, so there were no casualties.
Reportedly, this tree, which grew on land belonging to Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan's family (residing in Ko Sia hamlet, Tan Lap ward), was about 40 years old. Recently, heavy rains caused groundwater from above to accumulate, making the soil around the tree's base wet and muddy. When strong winds blew, the tree was uprooted and fell onto the house opposite.
Upon receiving the report, the leaders of the Buon Ma Thuot and Tan Lap wards dispatched officials from relevant agencies to the scene to coordinate with the families in resolving the issue.
