Heavy rain in Dalat, ancient pine tree falls and crushes moving car

During a heavy rain in Da Lat, an ancient pine tree fell and damaged a moving car.

On the afternoon of June 20, in Da Lat City ( Lam Dong ), there was a heavy rain accompanied by strong winds, causing many trees along inner-city roads to fall.

At about 5:45 p.m. the same day, an ancient pine tree on the sidewalk of Pasteur Street (Ward 4, Da Lat) was uprooted. This pine tree is over 30 years old, very large with a trunk diameter of about 90cm.

The fallen pine tree crushed the fence below. The top of the tree fell onto the road and hit the front of a moving car, causing the front of the car to be crushed.

At the time of the accident, the car was carrying tourists on a sightseeing tour. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Immediately after the incident, Da Lat City authorities cleaned up the scene.
