Accordingly, in the first 11 months of 2025, the cargo throughput through SSIT port reached 904 thousand Teu (compared to 618 thousand Teu in the first 11 months of 2024, an increase of 46%). With the synchronous implementation of innovative solutions, from optimizing wharf performance, operating procedures to promoting marketing activities and attracting new service routes, SSIT port not only improves operational efficiency but also enhances service quality, consolidating its position as one of the leading container ports in the Cai Mep - Thi Vai area.
To maintain and promote sustainable growth, SSIT Port continues to set strategic goals for in-depth investment and technological innovation. The Port plans to promote the application of smart port models and green its operations to meet global environmental standards.
In addition, the port will continue to invest in additional equipment such as STS shore cranes, RTG yard cranes, other mining equipment, and yard expansion... to meet increased output from shipping line customers.
SSIT Port is a strategic deep-water port, located in Cai Mep – Thi Vai area, Ho Chi Minh City. The port is specially built to handle container ships and is equipped with modern equipment, including the largest shore cranes in Vietnam today.
In addition, the port also provides a variety of services such as loading and unloading project cargo, oversized and overweight cargo, steel, fertilizer as well as agricultural products such as wheat, soybeans, and corn.
