
Millions of LED lights have turned the facade of Notre Dame Cathedral into a magnificent backdrop in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, temporarily covering the scaffolding that remains after many years of restoration. From the main courtyard of the cathedral, the sidewalk cafe area near Hoa Binh Primary School, to the surrounding areas such as Nguyen Van Binh Book Street and the City Post Office corner, all are packed with people.

The church’s front yard was packed with people. Under the soft light, worshippers knelt in solemn prayer, while groups of young people eagerly posed for photos, interspersed with laughter and the ringing of church bells.

The splendid light from the church makes anyone passing by turn around and stop to admire.



At the corner of Cong Xa Paris - Han Thuyen Street, many groups of young people gathered to take pictures. The sidewalk cafe area in front of Hoa Binh Primary School was also full, everyone was there very early to choose the best angle to see Notre Dame Cathedral.


On the sidewalk, hundreds of people sat chatting, eating and drinking and looking towards Notre Dame Cathedral in a bustling atmosphere.



Shopping malls are also decorated with Christmas decorations, reindeer and giant pine trees, contributing to the brilliance of the city center.




Locals and tourists continuously capture memorable moments next to Notre Dame Cathedral in its splendid light.


Nguyen Van Binh Book Street has also become one of the ideal places to admire Notre Dame Cathedral.

To welcome Christmas this year, more than 1,000 km of LED lights will be lit on the entire facade of the building and the two bell towers. According to the representative of the Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh City, the official lighting activity will take place from 6:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day, starting from December 1 and lasting until January 5, 2026, contributing to creating a festive atmosphere.
