At the headquarters of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, the delegation presented various forms of support totaling nearly 58 billion VND. This included 2,000 tons of rice (worth 26.86 billion VND); 26.52 billion VND for repairing 31 out of 33 damaged schools; 350 million VND in cash; and over 4,000 water purification devices worth 2 billion VND to support the Khanh Hoa Farmers' Association. Becamex Group also donated 2 billion VND to help the locality overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc shared that, following the Politburo 's directive, Ho Chi Minh City is supporting Khanh Hoa province in overcoming the consequences of the floods. The city's Party Committee has directed its units and 28 departments to coordinate with Khanh Hoa to promptly carry out many important tasks in overcoming the aftermath of the floods. With responsibility and compassion, Ho Chi Minh City has provided the best human and material resources and supported with goods in three phases. The handover on December 13th was the fourth phase, aimed at helping the province rebuild after the floods, especially in schools.
The Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized that in the coming time, departments and agencies of Khanh Hoa province needing support in post-flood reconstruction should continue to contact and coordinate with Ho Chi Minh City to implement the work. Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc believes that with the comprehensive leadership of the two localities in supporting the khắc phục hậu quả (mitigation of consequences) of the floods, Khanh Hoa province will soon stabilize life and production. These support activities also contribute to demonstrating the tradition of compassion and solidarity in the spirit of reaching out to Central Vietnam from the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City with Khanh Hoa province.
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, stated that the historic flood (from November 16-22) caused serious damage to Khanh Hoa province. The province received attention and support from the central government and people nationwide. After receiving goods and financial assistance, the province instructed relevant units to distribute them directly to the people as quickly as possible, ensuring that people could rebuild their lives promptly. The Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee expressed his sincere gratitude to the people of Ho Chi Minh City for their support in helping the province overcome the consequences of the floods, especially in the post-flood period when many localities in the province were still in disarray.
Following the donation ceremony, the delegation visited and presented gifts at Dien Lac Primary School (Dien Lac commune). The Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper donated 600 million VND along with medicine and medical supplies; the delegation also presented gifts to 40 teachers (1.5 million VND per person), awarded scholarships and learning materials to 50 students, and provided support to 10 farming households in Dien Lac commune with cash, gifts, and water purification equipment.

Previously, following the directives of the Politburo, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee provided emergency assistance of 50 billion VND to Khanh Hoa province; organized numerous working groups carrying over 1,000 tons of essential goods to help flood victims. Ho Chi Minh City also mobilized doctors to provide mobile medical services; set up centralized kitchens serving more than 10,000 meals per day; and coordinated with local forces to clean up the environment, clear mud and waste in deeply flooded areas.
