Song Kon commune assists people in rebuilding houses after natural disasters.

DNO - On the morning of December 12th, the People's Committee of Song Kon commune, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, organized the launching ceremony of the "Quang Trung Campaign" to support the construction and repair of houses for households severely affected by natural disasters.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, a large number of police officers, militia members, youth union members, and local people simultaneously mobilized to help two families: Alang Oanh (Ra Nuoi village) and A Ting Tung (K8 village) transport construction materials, arrange temporary housing, and move their belongings to a new location.

In addition, the staff and support forces assisted in land clearance, foundation excavation, site leveling, dismantling, and relocating the old house frames of residents from dangerous locations. Local authorities supported the construction of model houses that are sturdy and safe, and provided essential supplies to the households.

Mr. Do Huu Tung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Song Kon commune, said that the locality is currently helping two households complete the repair and construction of their houses before December 31, 2025. At the same time, they will continue to review and provide timely support to other households severely affected by natural disasters.
