Spreading the emulation movement
The year 2025 marks a significant turning point for Hung Dao commune following the administrative unit merger. In a context of many development opportunities but also numerous challenges, the Fatherland Front of the commune continues to play a central role in uniting and mobilizing the strength of the people, coordinating with other organizations to implement a series of practical emulation movements within associations, organizations, and the community to achieve the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
According to Ta Van Thang, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Dao commune, right from the beginning of the year, the commune's Fatherland Front Committee issued a specific plan, assigning tasks with clear responsibilities, clear tasks, and clear results, mobilizing the synchronized participation of the entire political system. Major movements such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas," "Day for the poor," and "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" were widely implemented, linked to each residential area and each target group.
During major holidays, the Fatherland Front of Hung Dao commune coordinated over 1,000 cadres, members, and citizens to participate in beautifying the landscape, cleaning the environment, improving village roads and alleys, and caring for 394 martyrs' graves at 4 cemeteries in the area. These activities have become a beautiful way of life, creating a new look for Hung Dao commune - a purely agricultural locality that is transforming towards commercial agriculture .
The National Unity Day was held simultaneously in all 21 residential areas, combined with cultural and sports festivals, and the giving of gifts to poor and policy-beneficiary households. It became an opportunity for people to interact and also an important forum for the Fatherland Front to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people.
Identifying the development of household economies and sustainable multidimensional poverty reduction as a key task, the Fatherland Front of the commune has closely coordinated with member organizations to implement many models supporting capital for production and livestock development, organizing technical training and technology transfer for households. In particular, through loan groups of the Farmers' Association, the Women's Union, the Veterans' Association, etc., the Social Policy Bank Branch and the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank of Quoc Oai have disbursed over 150 billion VND in loans to hundreds of members in the area to expand production, invest in machinery, renovate livestock facilities, and switch to suitable crops and livestock. This timely support has helped many families in the commune escape poverty and rise to prosperity.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung from Yen Noi village recalled: “My family used to be a struggling household, lacking capital to expand production. Thanks to a loan of 50 million VND guaranteed by the Farmers' Association, I boldly invested in a bio-secure chicken farming model. After a year, my income tripled. Without the support from the Fatherland Front and the Farmers' Association, we would hardly have the life we have today.”
Similarly, Mr. Vuong Sy Thanh, a young farmer member in Hamlet 4, said that thanks to loans guaranteed by the Farmers' Association and participation in technical training courses, his family was able to switch from traditional vegetable farming to organic farming, and then connect with consumers through e-commerce platforms. Income is more stable, and the market is more open. This support policy has given farmers confidence to change their production mindset and develop their economy.
In addition to providing loan support, the associations and organizations of the Fatherland Front in the commune also coordinated the organization of 30 training courses for more than 3,000 members on organic farming techniques, recycling agricultural by-products, value chain production, and digital transformation in agriculture. As a result, many models have initially formed sustainable production-consumption chains.
Besides funding, the "Solidarity, Prosperity, and Happiness" residential area model, implemented by the Fatherland Front of the commune in many villages, has created a strong ripple effect. In each residential area, there is a self-governing group and a core group supporting poor and vulnerable households. Together, they build flower-lined roads and bright, green, clean, and beautiful alleyways. Residents also support each other with capital, seeds, techniques, and production experience. Thanks to this movement, dozens of poor households have risen out of poverty sustainably, and many have developed new economic models such as organic vegetable farming, vermicelli production, and bio-secure livestock farming.

Evaluating the achievements, Vice Chairman of Hung Dao Commune People's Committee Tran Duc Thang affirmed: "The work of the Fatherland Front has made a significant contribution to the transformation of the locality. From supporting loan access and opening training courses to building new rural models, everything is aimed at improving people's lives. Thanks to the involvement of the Fatherland Front and other organizations, the entire commune now has no poor households, and the percentage of near-poor households has decreased rapidly, with only 119 households remaining."
From an organizational perspective, Ms. Nguyen Thi Sac, Vice Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee and Chairwoman of the Farmers' Association of Hung Dao commune, stated that the commune has always recognized that sustainable poverty reduction relies on the people themselves. The Fatherland Front and other organizations not only provide capital support but also closely monitor each model, accompanying farmers throughout the production process. This is the core element for people to truly escape poverty and become wealthy.
The above assessments show that the efforts of the Fatherland Front of Hung Dao commune have been recognized by the Party Committee, the government, and the people, creating great motivation for the locality to continue to effectively promote these models in the future.
Promoting the movement of mutual assistance for sustainable wealth creation.
Based on the 2025 review, the Fatherland Front of Hung Dao commune has proposed several key solutions to further improve the effectiveness of poverty reduction and economic development. Specifically, the Fatherland Front will expand livelihood models based on value chains; support the development of organic production and bio-secure livestock farming; link businesses to consume farmers' products; and build collective trademarks and product traceability systems. In addition, associations and organizations will coordinate with credit institutions to innovate capital support; increase the scale of loan groups, link capital support with technical training and digital transformation; strengthen entrepreneurship counseling for youth, women, and young farmers; and encourage cooperative models and group linkages of households engaged in production and business.

Furthermore, the Fatherland Front of Hung Dao commune effectively promotes community self-governance by replicating the "United, Prosperous, and Happy Residential Area" model in all villages. It has established groups such as "Farmers Helping Each Other Get Rich" and "Women Linking for Economic Development." It organizes the Rural Entrepreneurship Day and spaces to showcase local agricultural products. Simultaneously, it assigns members of the Fatherland Front to closely monitor support for near-poor and disadvantaged households, avoiding omissions or duplicate support. They participate in reviewing socio-economic development projects of the commune. The use of the "For the Poor" fund is transparent and open. The commune promotes digital transformation and actively guides people in using online public services and cashless payments. It supports the promotion and sale of agricultural products through social media and e-commerce platforms; and builds digital databases on poor and near-poor households and economic models.
The achievements in 2025 not only affirm the pivotal role of the Fatherland Front of Hung Dao commune in uniting and mobilizing the people, but also demonstrate the effectiveness of livelihood support models, helping people confidently rise up. With this determination of the entire political system, high consensus among the people, and the correct direction of the Fatherland Front, Hung Dao commune is gradually realizing the goal of building an advanced new rural area – where all people have the opportunity to develop economically, stabilize their lives, and enjoy the fruits of development fairly and sustainably.
