"The Dish" is a humorous film based on the true story of The Parkes Observatory's contribution to broadcasting the first human steps on the moon. The film also reveals, for the first time, behind-the-scenes footage of bringing these historic images of the moon landing to audiences worldwide .

The lead role in the film is played by actor Sam Neill, a very familiar face in Hollywood blockbusters, especially for his role as Dr. Alan Grant in the globally famous "Jurassic Park" series. The actor is originally from Australia.

"The Dish" is one of the quintessential Australian films of the 2000s. International critics largely praised the film for its lighthearted humor, clever storytelling, and appropriate tribute to the Apollo 11 event. The film also received relatively high scores on reputable film review sites.

In the Cine 7 program airing at 9 PM on December 14th on VTV3 (Vietnam Television) and the national digital television platform VTVgo, viewers will have the opportunity to enjoy and learn about this special film.
Interestingly, the legendary voice of Meritorious Artist Kim Tien will appear in the program. She is the narrator for the feature film "The Dish," which is over 100 minutes long.

Although she has retired and no longer works at Vietnam Television, Meritorious Artist Kim Tien still enthusiastically accepts invitations to narrate films. For longer films like "The Observatory," she prepares more thoroughly, researching the content, watching important scenes beforehand, and maintaining good health to narrate continuously for many hours.
