The film is set in the Le Trung Hung period, revolving around Than Duc - a prince born through witchcraft. Escaping from the forbidden palace, Than Duc ambitiously frees the Devil Bones from the Human Eye Pass to restore the Bones Cult. But Than Duc's plan only comes true when he has all the "ingredients" - the people living in a village deep in the forest. Disguised as a gentle herbalist, wanting to cure and save people, Than Duc sets out for this village and encounters the powerful village chief Lo Dat...

“The Demon Prince” has invested heavily in the setting, costumes, art design and makeup. The village setting was 100% newly built by the crew in the middle of the primeval forest in Da Lat, appearing wild, majestic and extremely gloomy. The film has the participation of a beloved cast such as “Brother” Anh Tu Atus, Luong The Thanh, Thanh Truc, Hoang Linh Chi, Binh Tinh, Duy Luan, Phuong Ha Le…

During the film’s premiere, actor Anh Tu Atus shared that he spent two months filming in Da Lat “locking himself in his room” to cultivate his character’s personality and depth. From analyzing his image, habits to emotions, he always kept himself in character even when he left the set.

Anh Tu Atus also revealed that when he first read the script, he was worried because of its complexity, but thanks to working with director Tran Huu Tan, he found an emotional anchor, allowing the "human" part of Than Duc to emerge under his cold shell. For him, the character Than Duc in "The Devil Prince" is the type of role that any actor should experience at least once. In addition, Anh Tu Atus explained that he did not sing the soundtrack because he wanted to appear as a complete actor.

After many years of returning to film, actor Luong The Thanh said he thought a lot to best play the role of Lu Dat. During the filming, he and the crew often discussed each scene. Along with that was the rigorous training process to perform the wrestling scene - one of the most physically demanding scenes in the film.

In response to questions about the competition at the box office at the end of the year, the “Prince of Demons” crew said that the market is growing rapidly, the number of Vietnamese films is increasing, which means the investment requirements must be larger, and “Prince of Demons” is no exception. Regarding concerns about the confusing story, director Tran Huu Tan and producer Hoang Quan said that the duo is pursuing the direction of ancient horror and always believe that the most important thing is to convince the audience with the character’s journey instead of pure scare elements.
