Replicating advanced examples and outstanding models and initiatives - Creating a strong influence in the patriotic emulation movement of the culture, sports and tourism sector

The patriotic emulation movement in the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector in recent years has recorded many important achievements, notably the emergence of more and more advanced models and exemplary initiatives - contributing greatly to the development of the sector. The discovery, fostering, praising and replicating advanced models, models and initiatives is not only the core task of emulation and reward work but also an important solution to promote innovation and improve the quality of activities in the whole sector.

Advanced models play a leading and inspirational role. They are people who dare to think, dare to do, overcome difficulties, and are dedicated to their work; they are united groups, proactively seeking new models to complete their tasks. These examples become the driving force for units to follow, creating a vibrant and practical competitive atmosphere. In the cultural field, many models have implemented innovative models in heritage conservation, organizing grassroots cultural activities, and applying digital transformation in promoting culture. In the sports field, many coaches, athletes, and mass sports workers have achieved outstanding results, contributing to improving the quality of physical training movements. In the tourism field, community tourism, green tourism, and smart tourism models have also become prominent factors.

In the years 2023 - 2025, the Vietnamese Culture, Sports and Tourism sector has recognized many advanced models and outstanding initiatives, truly creating momentum and orientation for development. At the 2023 National Advanced Model Commendation Conference, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism honored 78 outstanding collectives and individuals in the fields of culture, information, sports and tourism.

The Ministry's regular commendation work in the 2021 - 2025 period also achieved outstanding results, with thousands of Certificates of Merit, many emulation titles, medals, and commemorative medals awarded to collectives and individuals - evidence of recognizing and encouraging substantial efforts and innovation.

At the recent 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2025, outstanding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the period of 2021 - 2025 were honored. These include: Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater Collective, Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, Vietnam Culture and Arts Exhibition Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam National Music, Dance and Singing Theater... Individuals: Mr. Mai Duc Chung - Coach of Vietnam women's football team; Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, People's Artist - Director of Vietnam Puppetry Theater; Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa - Director of the Department of International Cooperation; Mr. Tong Toan Thang, People's Artist - Director of Vietnam Circus Federation...

In addition, recently in the field of sports, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 3733/QD-BVHTTDL on awarding Certificates of Merit to individuals. Accordingly, the Ministry awarded Certificates of Merit to 132 athletes and 52 coaches who achieved excellent results in international competitions, including the U17, U23, shooting, kurash, boxing, judo, taekwondo, swimming, weightlifting teams... contributing to raising the position of Vietnamese sports in the international arena.

In culture and arts, many individuals and groups working in performing arts, heritage conservation, artistic creation, and preservation of local culture have been discovered, honored, and promoted by the Ministry, encouraging cultural workers to promote creativity and social responsibility.

The work of building and fostering advanced models has been carried out systematically and scientifically . Party committees and heads of units have paid attention to directing the discovery of new factors; developing training plans, creating an environment for models to promote their abilities. Thanks to that, the team of advanced models has increasingly matured, not only being good at expertise but also having moral qualities, a high sense of responsibility, and a spirit of dedication. The work of propagating and praising models has also been promoted on many different platforms, contributing to spreading positive values ​​throughout the industry.

The replication of advanced models has brought about remarkable results. In many agencies and units, the emulation movement has changed in quality, the number of initiatives has increased, and the quality of work has improved. New models have been approached, researched and implemented by many units. Advanced models have become "emulation cores", spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity, creating positive competition between units, thereby improving the overall efficiency of operations.

Along with the discovery of typical cases, many new models and effective initiatives have been deployed in agencies and units under the Ministry. These include the model of building a "digital library" to serve the people; the model of "smart cultural houses"; initiatives to improve festival management processes; solutions to digitize cultural documents; the model of "experiential tourism associated with indigenous culture"; the model of "creative school sports"... These initiatives not only bring positive results in terms of expertise but also help save costs, improve service quality, and contribute to modernizing industry operations.

In addition, the industry has also implemented many strategic models and initiatives. A typical example is the coordination with UN Tourism to organize the first International Conference on Rural Tourism in Quang Nam - promoting rural tourism, community tourism, exploiting agricultural values, indigenous culture and ecology for sustainable development. The Ministry has also promoted information and communication work to discover, introduce and replicate bright examples and creative ways of doing things, from cultural preservation, art development, tourism promotion to sports activities, to spread the spirit of competition, innovation, responsibility and creativity throughout the industry.

These advanced models, exemplary models and initiatives are not only the pride of the industry but also vivid evidence of the spirit of innovation, creativity and continuous dedication of all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Discovering, honoring and replicating bright examples is the driving force for the entire industry to improve the quality of work, promote national cultural identity, preserve and develop heritage values, and at the same time create a healthy, sustainable and attractive tourism, sports and entertainment environment. Each typical individual and collective is an example of the spirit of competition, responsibility and creativity, spreading positive energy, creating a combined strength for the culture, sports and tourism industry to increasingly develop, meeting the requirements of integration, building a rich and civilized country.

In the coming period, the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector will continue to promote the discovery and training of advanced models, focusing on building an environment for initiatives and creative solutions to be effective. Propaganda work will continue to be strengthened to widely spread examples of good people and good deeds; encourage the entire sector to study and strive. Replicating advanced models not only contributes to improving the effectiveness of the patriotic emulation movement but is also an important solution for the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector to strongly innovate, meeting development requirements in the new situation./.
