At an altitude of 986m above sea level, the "roof of the South" is famous for rare cloud phenomena in the morning such as lenticular clouds (flying saucer-shaped clouds), rainbow clouds, sea of clouds... appearing continuously. Especially, in the last months of the year, in the afternoon, the sunset dyes the sky red, with interesting views from Ba Den Mountain making young people excited.

One of his favorite sunset spots is on the cable car. Sitting in the cabin running down from the top of the mountain at around 5:50 p.m., you will see the red sun like a ball of fire lying across the mountainside, reflecting its orange-red light onto the green forest floor. "The feeling of sitting in the cabin is like walking across the sun in the sunset, imagining being able to reach out and touch the sun, so wonderful" - Hai Trieu said.

Another sunset hunting spot that is also very popular with many people is right at Tay Bo Da Son Square on top of Ba Den Mountain. This large square is where visitors can see the entire fertile plain and the immense Dau Tieng Lake. From the square, every afternoon, the sun will gradually set behind the tallest Buddha statue in Asia, Tay Bo Da Son, located on the top of the mountain. The Buddha statue is printed on the sky dyed with orange-yellow clouds with a pinkish tinge, creating a very majestic and sacred picture.

"Every day watching the sunset at the top of Ba Den Mountain is a different experience. The orange-red light changes, the clouds transform continuously, sometimes like orange-pink dragon scales, sometimes creating streaks of light that look very mysterious, making many tourists fascinated" - said Mr. Dang Vu, an employee of Sun World Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area.

The lantern offering ceremony takes place at Tay Bo Da Son square on Saturdays right at sunset, which is also an experience that is especially loved by visitors. In the meditative space with the light from thousands of lanterns, the movement of the sunset fading behind the Buddha statue of Tay Bo Da Son creates a particularly sacred moment.

Khedol Pagoda, a famous Khmer pagoda in Tay Ninh, is also one of the favorite sunset hunting spots. About 5km from Ba Den Mountain, Khedol Pagoda is located in Thanh Dong Hamlet, Thanh Tan Commune, with architectural motifs in bold Khmer colors hidden in the sunset, extremely beautiful.
