Cua Nam Ward gives gifts to disadvantaged disabled people

On the afternoon of December 3, the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward held a meeting and presented gifts to people with disabilities in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3, 1992 - December 3, 2025).

The event is a practical activity, affirming the concern, care for the lives, and ensuring social security for people with disabilities, the elderly, and social protection beneficiaries in the area.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward Trinh Ngoc Tram affirmed: Over the past time, Cua Nam Ward has been making continuous efforts to take care of the lives of people with disabilities. All policies supporting social allowances, health insurance, rehabilitation, vocational training, employment, etc. have been implemented by the ward promptly, fully and in accordance with regulations. In addition, each officer and civil servant of the ward always keeps in mind that supporting people with disabilities is not only a task, but also a duty full of humanity.

Within the framework of the program, the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee and the Fund for the Poor Committee of the ward presented gifts to 27 disabled people in difficult circumstances in the area. These are gifts that carry the meaning of encouragement and warm sharing from the government and the community for the disabled.

Vice Chairman Trinh Ngoc Tram affirmed that Cua Nam ward will continue to consider the care of people with disabilities as a top priority, ensuring that 100% of people with disabilities who are eligible have full access to policies and regimes, striving to build a friendly living environment, respecting and supporting people with disabilities, especially those in difficult circumstances, people with severe and extremely severe disabilities.

Along with that, continue to expand programs to mobilize social resources so that people with disabilities not only receive material support but also receive attention to their spiritual life and are integrated into the community in a sustainable way. At the same time, strengthen communication activities, mobilize people to build a friendly living environment, respect and support people with disabilities, strive to make Cua Nam ward a place where people with disabilities can live, study, work and contribute like anyone else.
