Making English a Second Language in Schools:
Challenges from the problem of teaching staff

The Prime Minister has just approved the Project to make English the second language in schools for the period 2025-2035, with a vision to 2045, with the goal of creating an environment where English is widely and regularly used at all levels of education. The implementation roadmap has been clearly defined, but to achieve this goal, the education sector and localities must face a huge challenge: a lack of teachers in both quantity and quality, especially in disadvantaged areas.
