Effectively exploiting the two-level government model, Dong Da achieved many outstanding results in 2025

HNP - On December 4, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da ward held a conference to contribute opinions and social criticism on the draft "Report on the results of implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national security and defense in the ward in 2025; socio-economic development plan and national security and defense in 2026" of the ward People's Committee; supervising the implementation of administrative reform work in Dong Da ward when implementing 2-level local government.

The draft report at the Conference shows that in 2025, Dong Da ward will continue to maintain stable development indicators in the context of the synchronous implementation of the two-level local government model. Economic activities in the ward will maintain stable growth; political security, order and social safety will be ensured, creating an important foundation for the ward to carry out key tasks in the year.

In urban management, the ward has focused on handling long-standing problems related to construction order and environmental sanitation; at the same time, it has strengthened inspection and strictly handled violations of urban order and environmental sanitation. Movements to build a "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" living environment have been maintained, attracting people to participate. Social security work, care for disadvantaged households and policy beneficiaries have been implemented on schedule, ensuring timely policies and support.

In the field of administrative reform, the ward has achieved positive results. Up to now, the ward has completed 23/26 administrative reform implementation tasks, reaching a rate of 88.46%. Notably, the rate of administrative procedure files resolved on time reached 98.77% (11,330/11,470 files), of which 11,236 files were resolved before the deadline. The ward has also resolved 100% of the feedback and recommendations on administrative procedure regulations.

By 2026, Dong Da Ward aims to build a model urban area according to the criteria of "Cultural - Civilized - Modern"; strive for GRDP growth of 10.5% and GRDP per capita of 196 million VND. Along with that, the ward will promote trade and service development, continue to improve the quality of education and health care, expand digital transformation, accelerate disbursement of public investment capital and focus on training staff.

At the Conference, many opinions contributed and commented on the Draft Report on socio- economic development results in 2025 and socio-economic development tasks in 2026 as well as administrative reform work in the ward. Opinions were unanimous and highly appreciated the draft report which was carefully prepared, clearly showing outstanding results through a complete data system, reflecting the large amount of work that Dong Da ward has deployed in the first year of completing the two-level government model. Some opinions also suggested that the ward continue to clarify solutions to improve the quality of public services and urban management in the coming time.

Receiving opinions at the Conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da Ward Tran Thi Minh Xuan and Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Nguyen Trong Hai affirmed that the ward will study and absorb all valid opinions; thereby completing the report, adding specific solutions to overcome limitations, improve management efficiency and serve the people.

The draft report, once completed, will be submitted to the Dong Da Ward People's Council for consideration and approval, contributing to building the Dong Da Ward government to be increasingly civilized, modern, and to serve the people better.
