The event took place within the framework of the 18th Cambodia International Trade Fair (CTExpo), one of Vietnam's most important trade promotion activities in Cambodia to support Vietnamese enterprises to gain deeper access to the potential neighboring market.

According to Mr. Bui Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam), organizing a Vietnamese booth alongside CTExpo - Cambodia's leading prestigious trade event - is expected to create a "boost" for businesses to promote their brands, find partners and expand their markets.

This year, the Vietnamese pavilion has 50 booths displaying key products such as agricultural products - food, beverages, consumer goods, construction materials, plastic products, fertilizers, veterinary medicine, etc. Many big brands continue to impress Cambodian consumers such as Hoa Phat , Mikado, Quang Ngai sugar, and Bich Chi food.

With a population of nearly 18 million people and rapidly increasing consumer demand, Cambodia is a stable export market with plenty of room for Vietnamese goods. Bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and Cambodia has continuously maintained positive growth, in which Vietnamese goods are favored by Cambodian consumers thanks to competitive prices, stable quality and increasingly improved designs.
