EVNHCMC spreads the spirit of mutual love and support towards the Central region

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh City and in the spirit of "Ho Chi Minh City for the whole country, with the whole country", Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) has actively participated in activities to support people in the Central provinces heavily affected by prolonged floods in November and early December 2025.

In the context that many provinces in the Central region of our country from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai suffered great losses in human lives and property, many areas were isolated, traffic was paralyzed, people's lives were facing countless difficulties, timely relief activities are extremely necessary to help people overcome the difficult period ahead.

Two donations through the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh City

Demonstrating the responsibility of the electricity sector towards the community and the spirit of mutual love and support in the face of difficulties of the people of the Central region, EVNHCMC has implemented two support rounds through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City with a total budget of 600 million VND. The first round was carried out in November 2025, then on December 3, Mr. Tran Vu Quang - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the EVNHCMC Party Committee - on behalf of the collective of officers and employees of the Corporation presented 300 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

This is part of the total resources that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City received from 45,930 contributions, with a total value of funds, goods and necessities of more than 470 billion VND to promptly distribute to localities heavily affected by storms and floods.

Accompanying the program "One heart: For the beloved Central region"

In addition to support activities through the Fatherland Front, EVNHCMC also donated 200 million VND to the Fund "One Heart: For the Beloved Central Region" of Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television to provide emergency support to people suffering heavy losses due to floods.

Support the Central region's electricity sector to recover from natural disasters

In order to share the difficulties with the power sector in the provinces that suffered heavy damage, EVNHCMC has directly supported 500 million VND to the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), helping to take care of the lives of workers, civil servants and employees at units affected by floods, as a timely support for workers to soon stabilize their lives, overcome difficulties and feel secure in their work.
