EVNHCMC Party Committee: Improving the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system

In 2025, the Party Committee of the Corporation strictly implemented the principle of democratic centralism, ensuring the collective leadership role of the Party Committee, promoting the individual role of the Party Committee members and leaders; strictly implementing the principles of Party organization and activities; continuing to innovate and effectively implement political and ideological education work, regularly and promptly disseminating resolutions, directives and regulations of the Central Committee, the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee Party Committee; promoting propaganda and organizing activities and emulation works to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels. Organizing the groundbreaking ceremony of the project "Building a smart power grid in Con Dao Special Zone", a project to welcome the 1st City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Leading, directing and successfully organizing the congresses of affiliated party organizations and the 4th Congress of Party Delegates of the Corporation, term 2025-2030. Implementing the summary of Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Party Central Committee on a number of issues of continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently in accordance with the direction of the Central and City Party Committee. Receiving 2 Power Companies: Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau from the Southern Power Corporation.

Organize the dissemination and implementation of the Resolution of the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of the Corporation, the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee, the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025-2030 and action programs to implement the Resolution of the Congress; important regulations, directives and resolutions of the Politburo such as Resolution No. 57 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59 on international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 70 on ensuring national energy security until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

In addition, the Party Committee of the Corporation has stepped up the fight against corruption, negativity, waste, prevented and repelled manifestations of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" within the organization in association with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and lifestyle; strengthened inspection, supervision, party discipline and handling of complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections from organizations and individuals; promoted the role of mass organizations in gathering, educating, mobilizing, grasping the aspirations of workers, civil servants and employees; led and directed the excellent implementation of the set goals, targets and tasks.

Specifically, the Corporation achieved and exceeded 11/11 production and business targets assigned by EVN. The Corporation has strived to overcome challenges, ensuring adequate and stable electricity supply, meeting the electricity demand for socio-economic development, national defense and security and the people in the city, contributing to the recovery and economic development of the city. Meeting the maximum electricity demand of the city is 8,936 MW; commercial electricity output reached 43.27 billion kWh, up 0.5% over the same period and reaching 100% compared to the plan assigned by EVN; electricity loss through metering was 2.95%, 0.15% better than the plan assigned by EVN. Electricity saving output reached 1,038 million kWh, accounting for 2.40% of commercial electricity.

Continue to improve business operations and customer service; ensure that 100% of customer service types are resolved online at level 4; stably operate the multi-channel switchboard system in receiving and caring for customers. Promote the application of information technology, complete the database to serve customers in a professional and modern direction, aiming to form a digital technology enterprise, taking customers as the center.

With its efforts, in 2025, the Corporation was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President, for its outstanding achievements in applying science and technology to develop smart grids to ensure electricity supply for socio-economic development in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
