Giang Vo Ward speeds up site clearance and ensures social security

On the afternoon of December 5, Supervisory Delegation No. 01 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, led by Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, worked with Giang Vo ward to supervise the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of a number of key and urgent topics associated with the year-end review work in 2025.

Reporting to the Supervisory Delegation at the working session, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Giang Vo Ward, Tong Hoc Nghia, said that Giang Vo Ward currently has a population of more than 95,000 people, 71 residential groups, and 83 affiliated Party organizations.

With a huge amount of work after the merger, the Party Committee has focused on leadership, stabilizing the apparatus, perfecting the organization and urgently implementing the 100-day plan to operate the political system according to the motto "Stabilizing the apparatus - Standardizing processes - Building trust - Promoting the movement - Completing tasks".

In the Party building work, the ward successfully organized the 1st Party Congress, issued working regulations and clearly assigned tasks to people and jobs. The work of party member management and development was strictly implemented, admitting 22 more party members, awarding party badges to 314 party members, completing party member files after the merger and perfecting party organizations in agencies and residential areas.

In terms of public investment disbursement, the results of implementation in 2025 reached a high level, expected to complete 100% of the adjusted plan. Budget collection reached more than 143% of the estimate; budget expenditure was ensured according to the norm, especially infrastructure maintenance expenditure and investment expenditure according to the two-level urban government model.

The ward has focused on site clearance for key projects in the area such as Ring Road 1 (Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc), Phan Ke Binh Street expansion, Le Duan Cadre School... For Ring Road 1, the ward has deployed a "20-day, night campaign" to each household to propagate, mobilize, issue notices, organize fences, cut off electricity and water to cases of intentional non-handover of the site, and at the same time coordinate to prepare for enforcement in accordance with regulations.

"Giang Vo Ward Party Committee will continue to promote the achieved results, seriously overcome limitations, strengthen the responsibility of leaders, determined to comprehensively complete key tasks by the end of 2025 and prepare well for 2026," Comrade Tong Hoc Nghia affirmed.

At the working session, members of the Supervisory Delegation highly appreciated the efforts of Giang Vo ward in a short time to stabilize the organizational apparatus, effectively implement many key tasks, especially administrative reform, digital transformation, budget collection and maintaining urban order.

In addition to the achieved results, the members of the Supervisory Delegation also frankly pointed out the existing problems, especially the obstacles in site clearance, where there are still many cases of delay and complications due to disputes, affecting the progress of key projects such as Ring Road 1 and Phan Ke Binh. The members of the Delegation requested the ward to continue to focus, apply flexible measures, in accordance with regulations, and closely coordinate with departments and branches to remove difficulties...

Concluding the working session, comrade Vu Dai Thang, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee, highly appreciated the proactive, serious spirit and great efforts of the Party Committee and the government of Giang Vo ward in the initial phase of implementing the two-level local government model.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang acknowledged the outstanding results in Party building, administrative reform, digital transformation, public investment disbursement and budget collection; at the same time, highly appreciated the ward's determination in solving people's livelihood issues, urban order and operating new institutions to serve the people.

However, regarding site clearance, especially key projects such as Ring Road 1 and Phan Ke Binh, Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Dai Thang emphasized that the ward must focus more, coordinate closely with departments and branches, strengthen advocacy, dialogue and resolutely handle cases of deliberate procrastination to complete progress, ensuring the goal of completing site clearance before December 15.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang also requested the ward to proactively take measures to ensure traffic order and safety, especially during Tet and in preparation for the 14th National Party Congress; take full care of social security, so that all people can have a happy and warm Tet.

Head of Supervisory Delegation No. 01 requested the Ward Party Committee to fully absorb the opinions of the Supervisory Delegation, continue to complete the review report; at the same time, promote the sense of responsibility and determination to comprehensively complete the tasks at the end of 2025, creating a solid foundation for 2026.
