Dong Nai won third prize in the contest "I am a good population propagandist"

(DN)- From December 3 to 5, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Health organized the contest "I am a good population propagandist". The contest is an opportunity to recognize, honor and encourage groups, especially the population propagandist team that is directly carrying out population communication work at the grassroots level.

The contest attracted nearly 200 propagandists from 11 provinces and cities representing regions across the country. Dong Nai province also participated in this contest.

Speaking at the contest, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen emphasized: In recent years, population work across the country has achieved many positive results. However, there are still many challenges such as the difference in birth rates between regions; the imbalance in gender at birth occurring in many provinces and cities; the rapid aging of the population leading to many problems in health care and social security; the replacement birth rate in many provinces and cities is currently low, especially in large cities. Therefore, the work of propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on population work to the people plays a very important role, especially at the grassroots level.

At the contest, the teams presented many lively, engaging and highly creative propaganda skits, which were highly appreciated by the judges. In addition, there were greeting and eloquence contests with a lot of information related to population work.

At the end of the competition, the team from Phu Tho province won the first prize. The second prizes went to the teams from Da Nang and Thai Nguyen. The team from Dong Nai province and the teams from Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong won the third prize. In addition, the team from Dong Nai province also won the prize for the most energetic team.

Regarding individual awards, Dong Nai province's team had propagandist Hoang Thi Hanh win the Most Impressive Greeting Award; contestant Nguyen Hoang Mai Trinh won second prize.
